Mallorca

from 23 to 30/10/2026

Since ancient times, Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands, has been an important hub for the entire Mediterranean world. A place that has seen the passage of diverse peoples and cultures over the centuries, attracting writers and artists who, in turn, have given Mallorca an energy that has made it fascinating and irresistible to this day. This journey is designed to explore and walk some of the island's most important sites. We'll sleep in a small seaside town, a hidden gem, little-known to mass tourism, where time stands still and locals stop to chat gently with those seeking information. This intimate and tranquil setting will allow us to explore some of the island's most popular areas, such as the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, and small towns that have become world-famous for their beauty and the artists who have frequented them.

In addition to the typical Mediterranean scrub forest, we find centuries-old olive trees, a testament to the importance of this island product. In the late afternoon, we return by bus to our village. Dinner at the hotel.

From Palma, we take a train built in the early 1900s to the town of Sóller, a town where a French atmosphere still lingers. The train, built for the orange trade, transports us back in time: a slow pace that allows us to admire the splendid panorama. On the way back, we stop in Valldemossa, where the famous composer Chopin stayed.

27 october: visit of Palma de Mallorca – free afternoon

Meteora & Zagori

from 15/10 to 23/10/2026

Exciting trekking in an unusual Greece! Far from the golden beaches and whitewashed houses—the typical landscape we know so well and associate with Greece—here we enter its heart, exploring two truly spectacular areas. The first is in Thessaly, where we visit the marvelous monasteries of Meteora (UNESCO World Heritage Site). We'll approach them one by one, on foot, like monks once did escaping the worldly life, toward these high pinnacles that reach for the sky and hide from view. Then we move even further north, near the Albanian border. We enter the Zagori region, and it's a leap back in time. An area now semi-deserted and remote, difficult to reach...but one that has retained a traditional character rarely intact. We'll also have the honor of crossing a natural wonder: the Vikos Gorge, the deepest canyon in the world relative to its width. An exhilarating experience, one of the wildest hikes in Greece and Europe.

15 october: flight to thessaloniki – bus to Kalambaka (meteora)

Meet at Malpensa Airport (or alternative airport) in the late morning, check-in formalities, and takeoff. Arrive in Thessaloniki, then transfer by private bus to Kalambaka, a village beneath the Meteora. Check in to our hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

16 october: walking tour of the monsteries

After breakfast, we’ll set off on a circular hike to visit and admire the main monasteries of Meteora. This site has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it doesn’t take long to understand why… Although it’s very touristy, it remains a magical and mystical place, with these ancient monasteries built in unimaginable positions on steep cliffs, almost hidden by the incredible nature of these rock formations. An unforgettable day of this trek! We’ll visit two monasteries: Agia Triada and Roussanou, then climb the rock of Agios Pneuma with breathtaking views of Kastraki and the Meteora monoliths!
We’ll then complete the loop and return to Kalambaka, where we’ll relax for a bit before dinner at a taverna. Overnight stay.
Distance: 12.5km
Walking time:
4-5h
Elevation gain/loss: +577m/-562m

17 october: from meteora to zagori – monodendrI

Breakfast. Departure at 9:00 a.m. by private bus, which in about 2.5 hours takes us to the heart of Zagori, to the charming village of Monodendri. We are in one of the most remote areas in Greece. This splendid mountain village at the gateway to the Vikos Gorge is truly a captivating place. After checking into our hotel, we set off on a hike to Oxya, one of the most spectacular viewpoints of the Vikos Gorge. The view from this vantage point will leave us speechless; before us lies the immensity of this canyon, the deepest in the world relative to its width. Return to Monodendri, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
Distance: 7,7km
Walking time: 2-3h
Elevation gain/loss: +/-300m

18 october: tour of the local villages and stone bridges

Breakfast. Today we’ll visit some of the typical villages of this Zagori region. Once populated and active, the area is now gradually abandoned, a clear sign of this rugged and isolated landscape. However, the villages are splendidly preserved, and we’ll have the opportunity to admire the skill of the craftsmen, renowned throughout Greece and beyond for their wisdom and ability in building imposing stone houses and bridges. Our circular tour, with many ups and downs, touches many of the most traditional and beautiful Zagori villages. Passing through silent forests covered with blooming cyclamens, we reach several characteristic villages: Dilofo, Kipi, and Koukouli, crossing the bridges of Missios, Kokkori, and Plakidas. We return to Monodendri via Vitsa, for dinner and an overnight stay.
Distance: 18km
Walking time: 6h di cammino
Elevation gain/loss: +- 772m

19 october: Kapesovo – Vradeto – Beloi viewpoint

Breakfast. Minibus transfer to Kapesovo, where today’s hike begins. We’ll ascend to Vradeto via the eponymous “Skala,” one of the most daring stone stairways that zigzags its way up and takes us straight to the village. After a short break, we’ll climb further to Beloi, another vantage point overlooking the Vikos Gorge with absolutely breathtaking views! We’ll return to Kapesovo by the same route, but we’ll walk back to Monodendri, passing through Kapesovo and Vitsa. Dinner and overnight stay.
Distance: 18,2km
Walking time: 7h di cammino
Elevation gain/loss: +817m/- 927m

20 october: monodendri – Mikro Papigo (vikos gorge crossing)

Breakfast. We’re off on one of the most exciting and wild excursions in Greece: crossing the entire Vikos Canyon! This gorge is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the deepest in the world relative to its width. We’ll descend a steep staircase that leads to the canyon’s entrance, and from there, we’ll traverse the entire length of the canyon on a 15km long up-and-down path, immersed in a fantastical, surreal natural environment, almost reminiscent of a setting from “The Lord of the Rings.”
It’s incredible to walk through the dense, moss-covered forests at the base, flanked by impressive vertical walls up to 1,000 meters high, and in some sections the base of the gorge is only a few dozen meters wide. The final stretch, which opens onto the Pindus Mountains, climbs steeply towards the stunning village of Mikro Papigo, beneath the imposing karst towers of Astraka. Hotel check-in and dinner.
Distance 15,3km
Walking time: 6hr di cammino
Elevation gain/loss: +850/-920m

21 october: Mikro Papigo – Astraka refuge (optional Drakolimni lake)

Breakfast. Today we’ll enjoy an alpine stage, climbing to the Astraka refuge, located at 1,950 m above sea level. Lunch is available at the refuge.
If we still have energy, we’ll continue to visit Lake Drakolimni (2,050 m), located in a stunning basin with views of the
Pindos mountains and neighboring Albania! We’ll descend the same way we came, return to the hotel, have dinner, and spend the night.

Note: This stage will be carried out subject to weather conditions; in adverse weather conditions, a shorter alternative route will be offered.
We recommend the climb to the lake; it’s an enchanting spot and well worth the effort.
However, those who aren’t up for it can wait at the refuge (which provides food and drinks, and has a panoramic terrace for relaxing).
Return hike to/from Astraka Refuge
Distance 11,5km
Walking time: 5h
Elevation gain/loss: +-950m.

Full hike to/from Astraka Refuge and Drakolimni Lake
Distance: 17km
Walking time: 7h
Elevation gain/loss: +-1350m

22 october: rafting on voidomatis river

Breakfast. Today (weather and river conditions permitting), we’ll treat ourselves to a relaxing day by rafting on the turquoise waters of the Voidomatis! The rafting isn’t dangerous, and it’ll be a pleasant outing in the magnificent Zagori forests.
In case of adverse weather, we’ll take a short hike nearby. Dinner and overnight stay.

23 october: return flight via corfù

Breakfast. Around 8:15 a.m., we depart by private minibus to Igoumenitsa, where we take the ferry to Corfu (1.5 hours). In the early afternoon, we fly from Corfu to Milan Bergamo Airport. End of tour.

Menorca (Balearic Islands)

from 5/09 to 12/09/2026

In the heart of the Mediterranean between Spain and Italy lies Minorca, an island little known to mass tourism. The little sister of the Balearic Islands, the easternmost of the archipelago, it has often been forgotten in favor of the more famous Ibiza and Mallorca. Walking along the ancient "Camì de Cavalls", the path that winds along the entire perimeter of the island, you will be fascinated by a variety of landscapes and environments that have been protected as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO since 1993. Magnificent and solitary beaches, the wind, an important prehistoric archaeological heritage, the mills, the horses, the Minorcan food, the French, English and Arab descendants, the sea... the tanca, the lagoon areas and the rock formations are the protagonists of the island. A journey to discover Minorca, its history, its people and its culture.

5 sePtembEr: DEPARTURE TO Minorca

Meeting at Milan Airport (or other), check-in formalities and arrival in Mahon (Menorca). Transfer by private bus to Ciutadella, the second most important town on the island, nestled on the sea. Accommodation in a family-run hotel in the old town. Dinner in a restaurant and overnight stay.

6 september: Mahon feast!

Today is an important day for the whole island, a huge community party: the Horse Festival of Minorca! We also participate in this event that is held in the city of Mahon, and which concludes the summer cycle of horse parties. A feast that goes back to the 14th century and celebrates these wonderful horses. An exciting party attended by all the Menorcans, and we will be part of it all. Free dinner.

7 september: Alaior – Cala en Porter

Breakfast. We move to Alaior, a magnificent town located in the interior of the island and outside the tourist destinations, where we start to understand its habits by drinking a coffee in the square accompanied by an Ensaimada, the typical Balearic dessert. We begin to walk towards the sea until we reach the Talaiotic site named “Torre d’En Galmes“. Finally we arrive at Cala en Porter following a path along a baranco. Possibility of taking a well-deserved bath at the end of the trek. Return to Ciutadela and dinner in a restaurant.
11km, 4hr walking time, height difference up/down +145/-252m.

8 september: San Tomas – Cala Galdana

Breakfast. Bus transfer to San Tomas. We walk across one of the most beautiful stretches of the southern coast of the island. We will see white beaches bathed by crystal clear waters and we will stop in some of these oases, such as Cala Mitjana and Cala en Turqueta for a sunbath. Along the way, in addition to exotic scenery, the Mediterranean scrub with its essences is the absolute protagonist, together with olive groves and cultivated fields. At the end of the evening an interesting walk awaits us with a local guide, Isabel, to discover the secrets of the island. Return to the hotel, dinner in a restaurant and overnight stay.

10,1km – 4,5hr walking time,  height difference up/down +293/-300m

9 september: Es Grau – S’Albufera – Favaritx lighthouse

Breakfast. Departure by bus for the beautiful crossing of the Natural Park  S’Albufera des Grau which represents the core of the biosphere reserve, therefore from an environmental point of view it is the most important part of the island. We will cross the humid area, an expanse of fresh water where birds nest on small floating islands, to finally arrive at the Favaritx Lighthouse where a lunar landscape leaves us breathless.
Note: In the morning we go to the fish market to buy our fish (about 10-15 Euros per person), which in the evening will be cooked in a typical restaurant in the village.
9,6km – 3,5hr walking time, height difference up/down +- 197m

10 september: Visit of mahon harbour – afternoon from Punta Nati to Ciutadela

Breakfast. Bus transfer to Mahon, the capital of Menorca, where we embark to visit the natural port, considered one of the largest in Europe, and stop on the island of Rei. In the late afternoon we leave for Punta Nati and walk in a dramatic setting made of stones and cliffs overlooking the sea, where we wait for the sunset. An unusual and surprising walk. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
5,7km – 2hr walking time, height difference up/down +80/-91m

11 september: Cala Morell – Cala Pilar

Breakfast. Bus transfer to Cala Morell, where we begin another route in the north part of Menorca. Today’s trail crosses another wild part of this island, with a variety of colors along our route: from the green of the vegetation, to the red of the rock that turns into yellow and then red again. A continuous change of scenery and energy until the peak of Cala Pilar, one of the least accessible and best preserved beaches in Menorca.
