Lanzarote

from 5/12 to 12/12/2026

An island that can be defined as a work of art! Lanzarote is a place where natural elements and man have created a harmonious space. To explain this synergy, we must thank the great work of Cesar Manrique. We owe this well-rounded artist his significant contribution in educating and raising awareness of a dialogue with nature. He also deserves mention for his activist commitment to combating construction sites and buildings that sought to exploit the island. Thanks to this great man, Lanzarote, an island in the Canary Islands, was designated a biosphere reserve by UNESCO. Our walking tour aims to help you discover the unique landscapes and trails of this volcanic island, as well as what man has managed to create and produce from this land of fire, where the signs of the last eruption in 1700 are still vivid and remind us of the power of the Earth.

5 dECEMBER: arrivAL IN Lanzarote

Meet at Malpensa Airport and take a direct flight to Lanzarote. Upon arrival, we’ll take a public bus to the village of Yaiza, a quiet town in the southern part of the island. For a few days, this will be our starting point for our excursions and visits to the island. Dinner and overnight stay.

6 dEcembeR: timanfaya NATIONAL PARK – salina di janubio

Breakfast. Today features two important visits, essential for understanding Lanzarote.
In the morning, we head to Timanfaya National Park, a must-see: Lanzarote is Timanfaya, and Timanfaya is Lanzarote. We’ll depart early in the morning with a transfer and then take a park bus for the tour: the only way to see this place! Here, we’ll encounter the explosive force of Mother Nature, man’s ability to exploit and extract resources from a major volcanic eruption that changed the island forever.
In the early afternoon, we’ll visit the Salinas de Janubio, the largest in the Canary Islands and still active. Production began after the Timanfaya eruption, which transformed what was once a port. The salt mine, established in 1800, still reflects tradition and provides employment for its inhabitants. At the end of the day, we return to our accommodation. Dinner and overnight stay.

7 dEcembER: la santa – caleta de famara

Breakfast. Today awaits us a fine walk along the coast where the colors of the volcanoes, with their endless geological work, and the final tongues of Timanfaya meet the Atlantic Ocean. An intimate journey that begins in the village of La Santa and crosses an expanse of silence and rocks until reaching Caleta Famara. Here, a unique beach and its cliffs, formed by an ancient mountain collapse, leave us breathless! Here, a cold beer awaits, and for those who wish, the opportunity to go for a swim! Tonight we move to the village of Teguise, where we sleep in two small, family-friendly accommodations. Dinner and overnight stay.
Distance: 15km
Elevation gain/loss: +50– 50m

8 december: yaiza – la geria

Breakfast. We set off on foot from our village to explore one of Lanzarote’s iconic products: its vineyards. The farmers’ remarkable understanding of how volcanic soil could yield wonderful grapes is evident. La Geria is characterized by a lunar landscape where man has expertly created spaces specifically for vines. At the end of the tour, we’ll visit and taste a small family-run winery, perfectly in keeping with this magic! Through a taste immersion, we’ll explore how this vine is born and cultivated, tasting Malvasia and other wines produced here! At the end of the day, we’ll take a bus to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Distance 12 km
Elevation gain/loss: +340 -170m

9 december: from Haria to Teguise

This morning we head towards Haria, where we visit the house of architect Cesar Manrique. From here, our journey continues along the west coast. The scenery that awaits us is extraordinary: the cliffs towering above us, reaching heights of up to 600 meters in some places, the Atlantic Ocean, and the island of Graciosa… today, we have endless views that will leave us breathless. Slowly, we finally arrive in the town of Teguise, which awaits us with its light and its fortress! Dinner in town.
Distance: 12 km
Elevation gain/loss: +380 – 360m

10 december: mirador del rio – haria

After breakfast, we head north to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the Canary Islands, the “Mirador del Rio,” which overlooks the island of Graciosa. After a stop at the viewpoint, we begin our journey south, skirting Ye and leaving the Corona Volcano, one of the highest on the island, on our left. We enter the Gayo trail, where an unusual landscape awaits: lush greenery and the walls of the Risco Famara. In the evening, we return to Teguise.
Distance 13 km
Elevation gain/loss: +300 -230m

11 december: la graciosa island

We can define the island of La Graciosa as a paradise. Today we’ll leave you with some free time to relax and enjoy a peaceful day on the beach, like at Playa Francesa. Alternatively, you can rent a bike to explore the northernmost tip and take a short tour of the beaches. In the afternoon, we’ll take the ferry to Lanzarote for our last night before returning home tomorrow.
Note: For those who wish, there’s also the option of walking along La Graciosa’s beautiful trails.

12 december:  flight back home

The morning after breakfast, we head to the airport, where we take off for Malpensa around noon. End of tour.

Trekking guide: Federica Amaducci

Note: Excursions may be modified due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL

Intermediate. The walk covers average distances of 12-15 km, with some elevation gain in some stages, but does not require intense effort. A few training outings before departure are recommended.
You walk an average of 3-5 hours per day.

Catalunya: Camì de Ronda

from 12/9 to 19/9/2026

Used for centuries by fishermen and patrols to monitor smuggling, the ancient Caminos de Ronda run the length of much of the Catalan Costa Brava. We'll explore on foot, in a succession of emotions, a geographical area located between the eastern Pyrenees and the Alto Empordà. From the Gulf of Roses, passing through the idyllic coves of the Cap de Creus Natural Park, the captivating splendor of the white town of Cadaques, all the way to the French border. This territory also recalls the exodus of generations of Spaniards and Catalans who fled along these paths, dominated by lush Mediterranean scrub and the art of dry stone carving. We'll end in the charming town of Figueres, crowning the trek with a visit to the Dalí Theatre-Museum, a tribute to the incredible creativity of the Catalan surrealist painter.

12 sePtembER: FLIGHT TO BARCELONA AND TRANSFER TO COSTA BRAVA

Meet at the airport, check in formalities, and flight to Barcelona. We’ll continue directly from the airport by train to Figueres and then take a public bus to the coastal town of Roses, where we’ll check into a hotel just steps away from the sea.
After dropping off our luggage, we can stroll freely through the town center or along the pleasant waterfront promenade to the port, or, if we have enought time, visit the citadel, a powerful military fortress that now houses a rich archaeological site.
Traditional dinner in local restaurant and overnight stay.

13 september: Megalithic itinerary between Dolmens and Menhirs – boat trip

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we hike the hill behind Roses, through a maze
of paths built on a site of power, allowing us to admire several megalithic structures, including massive dolmens over two meters high, among the largest in Catalunya, and mysterious menhirs dating back to the Neolithic period.
In the afternoon, we board a boat from the port of Roses and sail toward the easternmost tip of the Iberian Peninsula, passing the white and beautiful village of Cadaques and reaching Cap de Creus, passing rugged cliffs and idyllic coves, and enjoying the first swims of our journey.
Return to Roses, dinner, and overnight stay.
Distance: 7 km
Elevation gain/loss: +200m – 200m

14 september: Roses – Cadaques

After breakfast, we begin our true Cami de Ronda, a trail through Mediterranean scrubland dotted with rosemary, rockrose, and wild thyme, beautiful pine forests, and stunning views of inviting turquoise coves. We pass Punta Falconera, home to a large complex of bunkers built during the Spanish Civil War, skirt the Cap de Norfeu nature reserve, and after the beautiful Cala Joncols, we begin the gradual climb that will take us to a picturesque hill. From here, we begin to see the white houses of Cadaques from above, a pearl of the western Mediterranean. Cadaques welcomes us with its slate-paved alleys, a relaxing atmosphere in front of the small harbor filled with anchored boats, and a good glass of wine that once enchanted the painter Salvador Dalí!
Dinner at a restaurant and overnight stay at a hotel.
Distance: 20 km
Elevation gain/loss: + 750m – 730m

15 sePtember: Cadaques – El Port de la Selva

Breakfast. From Cadaques, we depart along the historic stone path and arrive at Port Ligat, a paradise for Dalí’s genius, passing by the seaside house where the Catalan artist lived. From here, we enter the Cap de Creus Natural Park, heading towards the lighthouse of the same name.
There are few places in the Mediterranean where you can be caught in such a wild and captivating landscape as this! The terrain we’ll tread today is made up of rocks approximately 450 million years old, ancient granites that emerged during the rise of the Pyrenees mountain range. We arrive at Cala Jugadora, where we treat ourselves to a swim before continuing along the GR11 trail, crossing a picturesque plateau within the nature reserve, before turning back towards the sea and touching the dramatic yet stunning Cala Tavallera. Finally, we arrive at El Port de la Selva, located in a north-facing bay and popular with surfers.
Dinner and overnight stay in a beautiful hotel with spa.
Distance: 19,5 km
Elevation gain/loss: +700m -725m

16 sePtember: El Port de la Selva – Llancà

Breakfast. Today we head inland, leaving El Port and taking a stretch of a bike path.
We arrive in the beautiful center of La Selva del Mar, which we visit before beginning the climb along the historic path that connected the church of San Sebastian to the monastery of San Pere de Rodes, an impressive monument on the slopes of Monte Verdera, built around 878 by Benedictine monks. We visit the complex and then stop for lunch near the church of Santa Creu de Rodes, before descending along a verdant valley, passing through Coll de Perer, where we enjoy beautiful views of the Pyrenees descending towards the sea. Arrival in the small town of Llancá.
Traditional dinner and overnight stay at a hotel.
Distance: 13,5 km
Elevation gain/loss: + 530m – 530m

17 september: Llancà – Portbou

Breakfast. Our itinerary continues along the Camino de Ronda. From Llancà, we travel along the coast toward the Cap Ras promontory, where we admire other beautiful coves along a rugged coastline overlooking the sea. At a beach, we climb up to the mountain of Los Cañones, cannons that belonged to a Spanish armada that was shipwrecked off the coast in 1793. We stop at the top to admire the landscape before descending to the village of Colera, and then continue along a path overgrown with wild fennel, on a hill completely terraced due to now-abandoned agricultural practices. We thus arrive in Portbou, a border town and a stopping point for thousands of people who fled to France in 1939 along the so-called Route of Exile. Train to Figueres and arrival at the hotel.
Traditional dinner and overnight stay.
Distance: 12,5 km
Elevation gain/loss: + 480m – 480m

18 september: visit of Figueres and Salvador Dalì Museum

Breakfast. Today is a cultural day in the historic center of Salvador Dalí’s birthplace, the vibrant capital of the Alt Empordà region. We’ll take a day off and toast our trek with a visit to the theater-museum, taking an unprecedented journey into the surrealist art of this whimsical Catalan genius. After the visit, we’ll relax on the town’s Rambla with sangria and local tapas. Dinner and overnight stay.

19 september: Barcelona and flight back home

After breakfast, for those interested, we can take a walk along the walls of Sant Ferran Castle and admire the entire panorama from above, overlooking the Gulf of Roses and the Cap de Creus national park to the east and the Pyrenees mountain range to the northwest. A breathtaking landscape worthy of a perfect end to this trek!
We’ll say goodbye to Figueres and take the train back to Barcelona Sants, before continuing to the airport. Return flight and end of tour.

from 23 to 30/10/2026

Since ancient times, Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands, has been an important hub for the entire Mediterranean world. A place that has seen the passage of diverse peoples and cultures over the centuries, attracting writers and artists who, in turn, have given Mallorca an energy that has made it fascinating and irresistible to this day. This journey is designed to explore and walk some of the island's most important sites. We'll sleep in a small seaside town, a hidden gem, little-known to mass tourism, where time stands still and locals stop to chat gently with those seeking information. This intimate and tranquil setting will allow us to explore some of the island's most popular areas, such as the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, and small towns that have become world-famous for their beauty and the artists who have frequented them.

Menorca (Balearic Islands)

from 5/09 to 12/09/2026

In the heart of the Mediterranean between Spain and Italy lies Minorca, an island little known to mass tourism. The little sister of the Balearic Islands, the easternmost of the archipelago, it has often been forgotten in favor of the more famous Ibiza and Mallorca. Walking along the ancient "Camì de Cavalls", the path that winds along the entire perimeter of the island, you will be fascinated by a variety of landscapes and environments that have been protected as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO since 1993. Magnificent and solitary beaches, the wind, an important prehistoric archaeological heritage, the mills, the horses, the Minorcan food, the French, English and Arab descendants, the sea... the tanca, the lagoon areas and the rock formations are the protagonists of the island. A journey to discover Minorca, its history, its people and its culture.

5 sePtembEr: DEPARTURE TO Minorca

Meeting at Milan Airport (or other), check-in formalities and arrival in Mahon (Menorca). Transfer by private bus to Ciutadella, the second most important town on the island, nestled on the sea. Accommodation in a family-run hotel in the old town. Dinner in a restaurant and overnight stay.

6 september: Mahon feast!

Today is an important day for the whole island, a huge community party: the Horse Festival of Minorca! We also participate in this event that is held in the city of Mahon, and which concludes the summer cycle of horse parties. A feast that goes back to the 14th century and celebrates these wonderful horses. An exciting party attended by all the Menorcans, and we will be part of it all. Free dinner.

7 september: Alaior – Cala en Porter

Breakfast. We move to Alaior, a magnificent town located in the interior of the island and outside the tourist destinations, where we start to understand its habits by drinking a coffee in the square accompanied by an Ensaimada, the typical Balearic dessert. We begin to walk towards the sea until we reach the Talaiotic site named “Torre d’En Galmes“. Finally we arrive at Cala en Porter following a path along a baranco. Possibility of taking a well-deserved bath at the end of the trek. Return to Ciutadela and dinner in a restaurant.
11km, 4hr walking time, height difference up/down +145/-252m.

8 september: San Tomas – Cala Galdana

Breakfast. Bus transfer to San Tomas. We walk across one of the most beautiful stretches of the southern coast of the island. We will see white beaches bathed by crystal clear waters and we will stop in some of these oases, such as Cala Mitjana and Cala en Turqueta for a sunbath. Along the way, in addition to exotic scenery, the Mediterranean scrub with its essences is the absolute protagonist, together with olive groves and cultivated fields. At the end of the evening an interesting walk awaits us with a local guide, Isabel, to discover the secrets of the island. Return to the hotel, dinner in a restaurant and overnight stay.

10,1km – 4,5hr walking time,  height difference up/down +293/-300m

9 september: Es Grau – S’Albufera – Favaritx lighthouse

Breakfast. Departure by bus for the beautiful crossing of the Natural Park  S’Albufera des Grau which represents the core of the biosphere reserve, therefore from an environmental point of view it is the most important part of the island. We will cross the humid area, an expanse of fresh water where birds nest on small floating islands, to finally arrive at the Favaritx Lighthouse where a lunar landscape leaves us breathless.
Note: In the morning we go to the fish market to buy our fish (about 10-15 Euros per person), which in the evening will be cooked in a typical restaurant in the village.
9,6km – 3,5hr walking time, height difference up/down +- 197m

10 september: Visit of mahon harbour – afternoon from Punta Nati to Ciutadela

Breakfast. Bus transfer to Mahon, the capital of Menorca, where we embark to visit the natural port, considered one of the largest in Europe, and stop on the island of Rei. In the late afternoon we leave for Punta Nati and walk in a dramatic setting made of stones and cliffs overlooking the sea, where we wait for the sunset. An unusual and surprising walk. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
5,7km – 2hr walking time, height difference up/down +80/-91m

11 september: Cala Morell – Cala Pilar

Breakfast. Bus transfer to Cala Morell, where we begin another route in the north part of Menorca. Today’s trail crosses another wild part of this island, with a variety of colors along our route: from the green of the vegetation, to the red of the rock that turns into yellow and then red again. A continuous change of scenery and energy until the peak of Cala Pilar, one of the least accessible and best preserved beaches in Menorca.
