Basque Country

from 20/06 to 27/06/ 2026

The Basque Country, located in northeastern Spain, is part of a region offering captivating landscapes, where tradition and modernity blend seamlessly. A proud people and custodian of a mysterious and arcane language, Basque, the Basque Autonomous Community, known for its strong cultural identity, is also home to one of the finest Iberian cuisines, internationally celebrated, which we will sample alongside prized local cider! An unforgettable trek from the jagged cliffs of the Cantabrian Sea in the province of Guipuzkoa to the lush mountains of the interior, to discover a diverse and heterogeneous corner of Spain, also featuring vibrant cities like San Sebastian and Vitoria, rich in interesting architectural features.

20 JUNE: Flight to Vitoria – transfer to San Sebastian

Meet at Bergamo airport, check in, and fly to Vitoria-Gasteiz. Transfer along the coast to San Sebastian-Donostia. We’ll explore the historic center of this vibrant Basque city, beautifully nestled by the sea, and relax in the long Concha Bay, where we’ll enjoy the scenery while waiting for the sunset, perhaps nibbling on a local pintxo (excellent Basque tapas). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
